I bought this universal remote separately from the fan because we found it cheaper to buy the fan and remote separately. So I installed the remote control at the same time as the fan. The wires have been clearly labeled for convenience. It fits perfectly in the ceiling fan mount. The brightness control works great with the LED bulbs that come with the fan. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to make the Boundary Wire white so it doesn't stick out so conspicuously from under the headliner. I'll probably paint this wire next time I paint the ceiling.
