They make good potting; no dripping or spilling on the side. For that alone they are impressive for the price I paid. Unfortunately, the locking lever is unusable. Does not stick (during washing, you can close the lid, pour water and watch it drain quickly). They are plastic, not stainless steel. They only partially have a rust-free "finish". Otherwise, they work like spouts, are easy to clean, and don't cost as much money. 4 stars because they are not stainless steel as stated in the description and because I never intended to use them as corks (I used Vacu-vin corks).
