You get what you pay for!

Not cheap but high quality! Attempted "fake" version can be found - very limited lifetime! Of course it is easy to install/remove. BUT you need to sanitize the system every time you change it, so the component to install the cartridge is trivial (time and waste water dependent!). Instead of just changing the usage time, I started taking a water sample to the local water storage facility to quantify the level. filtration efficiency!
