I use this as an external monitor for my M1 MacBook Pro. The screen itself looks great. Definitely "Retina quality" - every single pixel is visible. Convenient as you can power your MacBook with a single USB-C cable between the computer and the monitor. The downside is the build quality. The monitor wobbles when you touch or move it, and the matte black plastic, while not terrible, looks frustratingly cheap for a monitor at this price point.
