Review on Swiffer Duster Refill + 1 Handle (28 Ct.): A Great Solution for Dusting by Brandon Wynen

I sound like such a tool, but this is a great thing

Be honest: don't dust hard. But that's enough for me to avoid it. Feather lobes are dull - they just throw dust into the air to try to resettle them. Rags sometimes don't pick up much dust, leaving streaks and ridges of residual dust. Or you need to spray the rag with a dustproof magnet and add a stage. Swiffer Duster really collects all the dust. It moves easily around and between objects, so you don't have to pick everything up. It keeps the dust in until you're ready to throw the rag away. The front of the rag does most of the work, so you can just twist it by the handle to give you an almost new area to pick up more dust. If you like, you can shake some dust in the bin and do it again, or you can just put a new handle cover on. I unpacked the thing and scurried around the house dusting like an idiot because it was so simple and effective. Stupidly useful. Edit: But of course there is also a fly in the ointment. It's part of the throwaway culture. I'm sure this fluffy stuff is some kind of plastic, so it's going to end up in the environment in the form of tiny fibers and other forms of microplastic pollution. Damned.
