After reading the reviews I was very excited about this purchase. We have 12 phones in our office and are tired of swapping out phone cords as kinks/knots form over time. Our employees use their phones a lot, so we needed this device badly. We ordered 3 to test before ordering more to cover all our phones. Out of the three we received, one didn't work right away so we threw it away rather than sending it back. We hooked up two others and they seemed to work fine for a day or two, but then the staff started complaining about static electricity. We found that the static electricity was caused by the detanglers. Over time, the static electricity deteriorated, making the product completely unusable. In addition to noise, sometimes our employees did not hear anyone when they picked up the phone, all noise disappeared. This product may work well for light phone use, but for us it didn't work at all, a waste of money.
