It didn't work for us.
I don't recommend this comb for afro black hair, this comb is like a doll even worse. Very awkward to use with n without a separator. My son's shoulder length curly hair was very messy, it did absolutely nothing and only made things worse. I used it on mine too and it was bad. I'm sure it would be great for someone with thinner, looser, curly hair. However, be sure to buy a head massager, yes yes yes I put 4.
