Hard plastic leaves a lot of room for error
Mold penetrates easily but is VERY difficult to remove once the wax has set and pulling out can ruin the candle. Pieces of wax will stick to the inside of the hard plastic mold and leave scars on the side of the candle. If you want to make good cones, do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars on a flexible mold, a matchstick and some mold lube.
