For $99 I think this is a very good buy. This is not my typical idea of binoculars because I have to adjust each eyepiece for each eye, unlike every other one I have by turning a dial in the middle. However, after adjustment, the image becomes large and clear. Yes, you can fault them, but if you don't like these, the next best ones can cost you $1,200. My bird and whale watching friends have the $1200 variant. Yes, for $1200 the clarity is stunning. This $99 is very good for my needs for many things. I haven't fully tested the rangefinder yet. I'm hoping to compare the rangefinder to my $300 button rangefinder. But again, I'm not lying on the ground in disguise with my face painted waiting for a jeep full of terrorists. Time. It usually says where south should be. These aren't the kind of binoculars I would buy if I was fighting in mortars. Can not complain. you work for me The case is very nice, as is the neck strap. What I don't like is that there's nowhere to put the eyecups. You are not attached to anything.
