First of all this is a very good lavalier microphone, it comes with lots of useful adapters and an extension cable. The fluffy "Dead Cat" windbreak is almost worth its price because it is made of particularly fine faux fur that really effectively dampens wind noise. The mic itself sounds pretty good as it has full range and picks up a rich sound. Now for the claim that it records stereo sound; IT IS NOT. It has an omnidirectional (non-directional) mic capsule and captures MONAURAL sound, there simply can't be stereo separation when using a single mic capsule. Stereo sound requires either two microphones or a dual-capsule microphone and a stereo connector, neither of which are supported by this microphone. The description even says STEREO AUDIO in capital letters, that's just not true, and claiming it's stereo is actually quite misleading. I knew it wasn't going to be a stereo mic before I ordered it, but I bought it anyway, it's $25 but it's not a stereo mic.
