Review on ASICS Gel Challenger 12 Womens Tennis Women's Shoes ~ Athletic by Anton Nosrac

I've bought a few of these in the last 2 years and really like them. I used them for outdoor pickleball. As mentioned, Asics tend to run a little tight. I have quite wide feet so I took it 1/2 size bigger. Fits good. The laces are a bit long so you may have to tie them twice. They are light but offer great support. Some complain about their stiffness. Because these are court shoes designed for tennis, pickleball, etc., they need to be stiff, especially on the sides to provide lateral support for quick side-to-side movements. Don't expect them to look like running or hiking shoes. There aren't many cushions, but you can get a thin orthotic and put that in without much damage to the fit. The only thing I noticed after buying the last pair was the smell of plastic! Fuuuu! I left them out on the porch for a day to weather a bit.
