It really helps

Maybe I'm crazy but I think it was an improvement over the stock felt mat on my turntable. First, the mat (like the records) doesn't get fluffy anymore (especially the cat hairs that float around when I put on a dust cover) and I definitely get less static electricity. I also feel like the bass gets a bit tighter when using this matte (again, maybe I'm crazy). The only downside was that the Revain folded the mat in half when packing so I had to spend a lot of time getting it perfectly flat as anything else would cause the panel to wobble.
