I got this for my Suzuki Forenza Wagon so I don't have to worry about jacking up the car in case I need to change a tire or if I need to change brake pads or do other maintenance. When I first used it, I connected it to a car battery to avoid problems with blown fuses when it was plugged into the car cigarette lighter. Worked perfectly! He lifted my car with ease and held it while I removed the tire and checked the brake pads. When I was done, I pushed the button on the wired remote to lower the car. No problem. This jack is durable and made of thick steel. It has a nice case that comes with it, but since it doesn't fit in the compartment in the floor of my car I just took it out of the case and hid it in the floor where I keep my various tools, tire pump, etc. It consists of 2 different pieces of steel that you can put in the top and this is the piece that actually touches the bottom of your car. One is short and the other is tall so you can jack the car up without stretching that far, but you need clearance from the top of the jack to the bottom of the car to use the longer insert. Whichever one you use, it will be just as easy. So no more wrestling with that old scissor jack that twists and turns, now just push a button and like magic the car lifts off the ground! I definitely recommend this to everyone.
