I bought this for my husband and he loves it. When it arrived it was a little stiff and a little larger than expected. I turned it inside out and washed it in our side load, tumble dried it, and when it came out it was slightly smaller and softer, with a good fit, not flat or folded like it came with the post. Also, it sits better on your back when you wear it. It can hold a lot of items and the side pockets hold large water bottles well. There are several pockets and the main feature that made us buy it was that there are no large zippered pockets, just plastic buttons that are easy to replace. The few zippers on it are small pockets and feel quite heavy and will likely take a lot of wear and tear to break. The material is a heavy canvas that can take a lot of abuse with very few imperfections caused solely by the threads themselves. Just like that, we wanted the army-style backpack to be over the top. Would buy again.
