First off, why are they $89 NOW? Since I bought them and actually used them in my haircut I can tell you how they work. I paid $79.90 for it and should have paid $39.99 anyway. As soon as you clean and oil them to turn on the switch, they make that rocking noise. He did it so hard they actually moved in my hand. (Imagine a pair of shoes being thrown into the washing machine.) That's what happens every time you turn it on, by the way. As you cut with the clippers, the silver plastic plate of the "shaft" body rattled as I held the clippers. what is so loud I think you could put some super glue in it to hold it in place, but why would you want $79? Plus, holding these clippers is like holding a phone book in your hands for an hour. Then, to top it off, I realized that the guards contained in the box had been used and appeared to have been returned. The guards' fine silver hair was a gift. They cleaned them damn well to return them because I didn't even notice. So I clean everything I open. I am a hairdresser so I would advise you to look elsewhere. Damn Andis! Lol PS for good karma don't buy them, especially for the simple fact that they keep increasing the price. REPORT YOU.
