I bought these to replace after losing one of two Outdoor Research gloves I really liked, hoping they were the same. It's not like this. The palm surface is very hard and I could tell right away that I hate it forever. They are back. It is worth noting that the seller charged me a commission for the return, which was about 10% of the cost. A plus for the gloves are the loops which you can see in their photos which are really handy (pun intended) for easy donning of gloves. . This was a trait I really liked in my other pair.
