We sleep together with our son, he is 4 months old, about 2 months already. Bought because he gets more mobile in bed and I was afraid he would fall off. Let me just say this thing came in handy in more ways than one! I was between the bed rail and the bed bumper but after a lot of research and talking to other parents I'm so glad we chose this! Advantages: - The child does not roll out of bed. I read in another reviewer that they couldn't even flip it easily and that was very true. The bumper is VERY strong yet soft when you need it. My husband and I tried to turn around which is very weird because it's not easy. - Night feedings. We are EBF and I can't tell you how many times I almost fell out of bed feeding on one side. If you are half asleep and the child whirls around, only the child will disturb you. But then after feeding you sit back to stretch and there is no bed! That stopped it 100%. It is also the PERFECT back pillow when breastfeeding in a side position. This piece alone has helped with some back pain - fits perfectly under the sheet. We have a very deep bed so I was worried it would fit under our sheets but it fit without any problems - easy to clean. There is a cover that can be removed and thrown in the washing machine if needed. Be sure to read the cleaning instructions! As for the pillow part, I'm sure we can clean it as needed but I can't see anything between the sheet and the bedspread. so it ever gets bad. I don't really have any cons except that you have to wait 48 hours for the pillow to inflate when you receive it. This is just a scam because I was so excited about this product.
