Even after thorough rubbing with alcohol, regular hot glue didn't "stick" well enough to pull out the dent. I ordered these sticks and used the amber ones on a 60w hot glue gun. A 60w hot glue gun fizzed this amber glue and smoked a bit. However, in terms of "stickiness", the glue turned out to be better than the usual hot glue from big stores. The buttons do not appear when you press the tool. After figuring out the dent, I had to manually pry off the button and hot glue using a small plastic spatula (included) and regular 90% drugstore alcohol as a release agent. This adhesive does an excellent job of what it was designed for - pulling out dents.
