This steamer heats up quickly and is very easy to use and refill. It doesn't "spit" unless you hold it up. However, it doesn't have enough power or a big enough water tank to be very useful at home. I had MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 5 minutes before you need to fill the tank - so unless you have everything already hung up and ready for instant steaming you've all got a shirt and a half or so. It's compact enough to be a good travel steamer and/or useful for smaller jobs, so I'll keep it for myself, but if you're looking for a powerful steamer for multiple things at once (or for steaming curtains, linens, etc household items), spend another $20 and get another, more attractive one.
