After trying another brand that worked fine but failed after accidentally wringing out in the wash then replaced with the same brand that never worked properly and ended up being sent back, I found the Oaxis My First Fone GPS watch for kids. It took a bit of work to detect the SIM card, but now that we've got it set up, it's pretty easy to use. The app is simple and easy to use, our 7 year old daughter loves the convenience of the soft elastic and makes calls and texts with ease. The GPS is fuzzy, but that's normal with this watch. Generally it works and worst case scenario if the GPS lags behind you can always use the phone's call feature to find out where they are. The pedometer seems a little off unless our daughter has taken 32,000 steps in the past few days, which is unlikely.
