I really like this camera. Really easy, great picture and video with sound quality. Leaving it on automatic setup worked very well. Of course I like more control so I changed the settings many times. It's easy to make changes and then switch back to auto mode for easy shooting. This camera has spent a lot of time underwater, in the sea, on the sand, in the middle of the waves. It survived everything. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to remove the tiny bits of sand around the rubber pads. The silicone case protects the surface from scratches and gives me extra confidence that neither I nor a malicious sea creature can accidentally open the battery cover underwater. The playback screen is large and bright. It is very easy to record movies. The sound is good too. He caught some faint noises that surprised me during playback. I don't like the included software. The editing features are good but not very easy to use. Or maybe it's too different from what I usually use. The good thing is that I can use other software that I like after downloading the photos to my computer. The battery charges fairly quickly. I also bought various accessories to work with this camera. The floating strap is important as this camera does not float. The orange Olympus flotation harness brought my camera back to the surface in both freshwater river and ocean. I also strongly recommend buying a good memory card. This is not the place to go cheap. Overall, this is a great camera for everyday use, and even the artistic photographer can have fun with it, just like me.
