Review on Optilux Hella H71070582 Yellow Halogen by Thomas Landis

I have used a pair of these fog lights on my truck for 2-3 years with no problems so felt pretty good with them. The light color is a pleasant pure yellow, not washed out. However, I also use them as high beam/daytime running lights in my IS300. Less than a year later, the glass deformed and burned through from the inside. The light output has decreased significantly. I installed them with the headlights off the car and never once touched the glass or anything. Other users seem to have had similar problems. I don't think they are up to the task of using DRLs all the time. I have another set to try again.
