I've wanted to work with silicone to make molds for soap making for a long time, but I was afraid to take the first step and hesitated. I had a soap assignment that required using an environment like this. Although this is a small batch of test samples, it worked well for what I used it for. I found it easy to follow the instructions. You simply mix two catalysts and pour them onto whatever you want to shape. You let it set until it hardens, then separate it from your items you want to make a mold out of. While the instructions state that a release agent isn't usually necessary, I've found it beneficial for small parts. I had a few so that helped as the silicone tended to stick. This package only contains part A and part B, which need to be mixed together to make a silicone mold. Cups or other containers to place the mold in are not included. That's what I expected. I just used plastic cups to mix it. I also want to make sure you're doing this in a well-ventilated area. The package contains 2 pounds of mixes. The ratio to the mixture is 1:1. Nothing easier than this.
