This bag is great and can do many different things. Of course you can also use it as a toiletry bag and it serves its purpose perfectly. I use it for two other purposes: 1) as a "seat" for long haul flights. In this role, you can store your essentials in it - things like a tablet, Kindle (Paperwhite fits perfectly in a small outside pocket), headphones, etc. You can then hang it on the coat hook found on most seats on airplanes. . If there is no hook, it can either be hung from a large loop on the armrest, or simply placed on the floor where it won't take up much space. 2) By adding a small shoulder strap to the loops, this bag can be used as a small bag when traveling around the city. You can fit everything you need in it: maps, snacks, a small water bottle, etc. Of course, this bag is well built and can take a lot of abuse. Yes, it's expensive! But yes, you get what you pay for.
