Switched to this unit from a full-frame Canon EOS 5D. Filmed on 5D Mark 2.3, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji - there is something to compare. It's not worth trying to compare a micro with a full frame - it has a completely different concept and a different picture. Let's start with the merits. 1. The camera is made exceptionally well - it's nice to take it in your hands. With ergonomics, too, everything is in order. The controls are logical and convenient, there are many physical controls - this is a plus for an advanced amateur photographer. 2. The quality of the photos is excellent, if you do not look at it under a microscope - otherwise there is a risk of seeing noise even at the minimum ISO. 3. Although there is noise, but their level grows slowly with increasing ISO. ISO3200 can be called conditionally working (RAW + Lightroom noise reduction = light pseudo-film graininess) 4. Neutral color reproduction without falling into some characteristic shade. 5. Good stabilization. 6. EVI with a variable angle of inclination - reviewers say that this is very cool, but I have not yet appreciated the merits. 7. A very rich set of functions and settings. Everything is configurable! 8. The presence of silent mode: electronic shutter + tilting screen / EVI allow you to shoot absolutely without attracting attention 9. Video quality is Panasonic's forte. GX9 is no exception. 10. 4K photo, Post-focus - built-in effects that allow you to do an analogue of stroboscopic shooting and focus bracketing. Until I had time to really test, there was no suitable case. Flaws 1. The battery could be more powerful. 2. A shutter shock came out a couple of times - blurring the picture from the shutter. 3. For some, the lack of a microphone input will be a disadvantage. More detailed impressions and sample photos on my website - it is easily searched by by my last name and camera model :)
