After assembling the stand without basically ignoring the instruction manual, the end result was good in terms of sound quality. The center channel used to be under the TV in the A/V rack. Moving the C/C speaker in front of the counter made the fluffy vocals crisp and clear. Wonderful. Sanus lost a star for poorly worded and sometimes misguided assembly instructions and promotional parts that were not included in the kit. Fill these coasters with sand as directed, if desired. If I were to do it again, I'd buy a solid, all-welded stand for slightly higher shipping costs compared to Ikea's flat-pack approach.
