Starry Huge Model

This is a great achievement in Lego models. By far the largest architectural set, it's a massive beautiful model with lots of detail. It took me several hours to plan and assemble (bags are not numbered so have fun sorting through 1000+ parts first) and the experience was extremely therapeutic, enjoyable and mentally stimulating. (Though my thumbs were a bit sore afterwards!) I bought it for $92 and a week later it was reduced to about $60. It's a steal when you see it for sale, but even at the RRP I think it's a good buy. First off, Lego is an expensive hobby, while architecture aims for a more adult price point, and this is the best set in the range. It's a fair price and costs just under 10 cents apiece. A word of caution: since almost all parts are white, be careful where you place this model and try to keep it clean. White Legos tend to discolour over time.

Pros
  • Lots of Positive Emotions
Cons
  • Fading
