I bought this set for my one year old daughter who has thick, naughty, naughty (but still childlike) hair thanks to mom and dad. My brother also has thick hair. Little did I know it was going to be a comb that we use every day, but it really helped keep her hair in place. The brush ears get in the way, but you'll learn how to maneuver. Even if you don't like this brush, it's still adorable and it would be nice to use it so they can practice brushing their hair or play with it while combing their dolls' hair. It's amazing! The comb offers space for your thumb and is therefore comfortable to hold! Great for a gift! It was too cute not to buy!
