Had to be modified to fit
Used to reattach a perpetually loose toilet seat. Couldn't slide them through the mounting holes as directed. Decided to loosen the washer flange from the top which allowed me to insert the case through the bottom of the mounting hole. Then I added a rubber washer on top. Replaced the toilet seat and tightened everything. There is no slip now. Really sure. Knowing what to do, the second toilet took 10 minutes. I hope this review helps someone. I will use this product next time I replace our throne.
