It's raining here so they're great when he's at school and outside after the rain. My son has long legs, but they are still very long. So be prepared for the possibility of them dragging across the floor. I wash with original Tide powder in cold water, add fragrance enhancer and tumble dry low/medium. I didn't notice the joggers shrink or have any issues with fading or picking up other colors. The joggers have really great seams and no problems so far.
