I have a recumbent bike with a tadpole. Fitting accessories is difficult due to the lack of a steering wheel. I attached this mount to the mirror mount for my Garmin Edge Explore. I had a Garmin mount that I had used with a previous tricycle, but that would have caused the Edge to be horizontal instead of vertical. This bracket allows you to rotate the part that the Edge clamps 90 degrees. The only thing I complain about is that this mount is only designed for one rod diameter. To attach it to the glider I used the rubber piece that came in the kit and another rubber adapter from my old mount and wrapped a piece of old tubing around the transom mount.
