Updated 11/2019 - Unfortunately my mother's arthritis is worse than ever. However, she was able to use it and it worked for her almost every time. every now and then something is too tight and she needs help, but most of the time it helps. it still looks the same as it did when we got it. I bought one of these for my mother many years ago. Her hands are crooked from arthritis and this has helped her a lot. This original grip broke last week but after so much use I'm amazed it has lasted so long. so we ordered a second one. they work well and last a long time.
