I was hesitant to buy these glove deodorants because the reviews said the smell took over their home. I am very sensitive to artificial smells and can easily get pissed off. Luckily there is a room in our house that we can keep closed. I have a lavender scent and my friend uses cedarwood. Although two of these things are locked in a very small space, the smell isn't overpowering when I walk inside. Yes, it's quite strong, but the smell doesn't knock me out. I only occasionally smell lavender in boxing class, even though I keep my glove on my face. I'm glad they help absorb moisture because my gloves are very sweaty by the end of the class. I'm sure this feature will extend the life of my gloves.
