Great compression shorts for running. I usually buy 2-in-1 shorts, but with my phone's recent upgrade to a Samsung Note 8, I've had trouble finding a pair of shorts with a pocket to protect my phone while running. The right hand pocket of these compression shorts holds my phone and the additional flap at the top of the phone adds extra security to keep the phone in place. I know this pocket is listed as a security pocket for your keys, but I found my large phone fit perfectly with the security flap. My keys still stay in another open pocket with no problem. I could run in these shorts during a race and not have to worry about my phone falling out or bouncing and losing my keys. The extra compression on the bottom of the legs is also helpful I think as it helps provide extra support to the muscles when running. I checked the company's website for the exact size I needed as the size chart is slightly different from what you see in the Revain size chart link next to the size drop down. The sizing chart graphics currently match the measurements on the company website and the shorts fit perfectly. I've worn these compression shorts twice; The first was for a test run and the second for a real race I drove. Reminds me of my football days in high school, when we wore compression shorts under our regular shorts for easier dressing and extra leg support. Great running shorts again and I plan to buy more.
