Received my sets of measuring cups and spoons. Here they are with the previous sets. The Hatrigo measuring spoons from the previous set have been my favorites since I've had them. The new set is also very good, but it doesn't include the 1/8 TL and 1/2 Tbsp that were in the original set. I really liked this addition. I love that all of the new measuring cups are one piece and I didn't like the way the handles were attached to the old set. They nest well together. They are much wider and flatter than other sets I have. That meant there wasn't room for them in my drawers, but no big deal, I decided to keep them in the bowl of my KitchenAid. The bowls of the mugs are wide and shallow, so I used a large icing spatula to even out the flour, powdered sugar, etc. where I managed to use my finger with deeper mugs. I don't think it would work with these. I also wish they had offered a 3/4 cup option. I bought one in a size to match another set I have and it's extremely useful. You'd be surprised how often 3/4 cup is found in baking recipes. They did a great job this weekend as we released 4 batches. Russian gingerbread.
