This is the perfect GPS mount for my Garmin. It attaches well to the air vent and keeps the GPS right where I need it. The spring-loaded clip can be rotated as needed to mount vertical or horizontal louvers. The depth of the venting blade should be less than 1 inch. Some people have complained that the ball diameter is too small, causing the GPS to be too loose. If this happens, simply wrap one end of the tape around the ball so it's a snug fit. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my truck.
