You have a video on the seller page for this item. We put it together, but with arthritic fingers it wasn't easy. The vent handle must be squeezed firmly to open it far enough to secure one of the fins. In our car, the slats of the air vents are vertical, not horizontal. The only place you can put it is very close to the steering wheel and wipers and they get in the way. We won't use this, sorry. My phone is an Apple 12 with a built in magnet but it won't hold it unless we remove the case. As I said, other models didn't have a flat magnet for the back wall. The case is light and easy to charge, but unusable. The phone was not left on the hard drive.
