My hair is almost impossible to curl. I've used so many tools and so much hairspray and they still go flat by the end of the day or sooner. The coils worked quite well, but please be careful how you insert them. As you wrap your hair, make sure to wrap your hair closest to the flat end. The longer your hair, the smaller the section you need to use. Unfortunately for my long hair, the 13th only allowed me to tuck in the ends. The rubber on the spools is very sticky, especially when you first use them. Any hair that falls out tends to stick and my hair frizzes easily. If not carefully removed, it broke my hair when I tried to let it down. However, the second time I was able to wrap my hair around it so it didn't happen as often. Overall the coils worked decently so 4 stars but that's all I can give. It curls my hair well but I still have to apply a lot of hairspray to my hair to keep the curls and it stays straight in the middle of the day or if I don't apply enough hairspray to it. If your hair gets frizzy easily or can retain curls, then this product is for you. It's not too uncomfortable to sleep in, albeit uncomfortable at times, but I make up for it every time. In the end I would recommend them but wish they were cheaper.
