After weeding out the side table speakers and the ubiquitous cables, I decided to finally take the plunge and wall mount the surround back speakers. Having them about 30cm above ear level on either side of my living room has increased exponentially in both presence and clarity when watching TV/movies and ESPECIALLY when playing Xbox360 games! who lack the self-learning gene. My satellite speakers are small (2-3 pounds) so there wasn't an issue with the weight. But my dad has fairly beefy rear speakers and had no problem using these mounts. Buy with confidence and don't spend 2-3 times more in chain stores!
