Despite its size, the dock itself is a little lighter than I expected. Please note that the station is powered from a wall socket, so it is possible to charge simultaneously via 8 ports, four of which are USB 3.0 high speed. Although pictures online show the station supporting several smaller phones and tablets, I can place a Wacom tablet vertically on the back of the dock. The dividers are plastic, which can be an issue for online shoppers, but they're thick and held in place by a few ridges/notches, making them a serious competitor to bamboo docks. hope, but don't expect any data transmission possibilities. For small USB-powered stations, I connect them to a computer or Playstation, which allows for multiple Bluetooth connections. It is not a replacement for such a device. USB power delivery tends to be slow, so know you're getting a charging powerhouse with it, but don't expect any benefit beyond what's advertised.
