A few years ago I was an IndiGoGo supporter of the original TicPods and they are much better. I like that they kept the design similar to traditional headphones. USB-C charging is now a must and makes everything so easy! Here are my highlights: - Great sound quality and good microphone quality - Pairs on par with Surface headphones (which are much more expensive). It's nice when they instantly connect from my PC to my phone or vice versa. Before that I used 1More Stylish which are similar in price. They have a much inferior mic and no independent headphones, which is one of my favorite features (and increases battery life). Nod gestures (rather than movements) work surprisingly well. I thought it was useless but it has worked every time I've tried it and I can see myself using it as a full feature with more value. Here are a few things I would like to improve: - Touch gestures take some time to get used to. It's a small interface and you can't press as fast as you'd like at times. - I didn't find a way to change the volume in the headphones. You get track skip, call controls, and a voice assistant. If you suddenly turn left or right, you will experience connectivity or latency issues (when walking and bird watching). I don't know the exact reason for this, but sometimes it's noticeable.
