I bought three of these 3 terabyte hard drives. I haven't had any problems with any of them. I have them in my hub. And I use them to store video files. I collect video files from crime films made between 1930 and 1950. I also collect horror films from the 1930s to 1960s. I only use them as hard drives for storage. I have each of the three in the hub and run the hub for 4 hours each day. I don't get any sounds from them. They are all silent. I didn't have a single fault in any of the three. They appear on my computer screen within 10 seconds after I turn them on. I also play my movies from these hard drives via a small media player. And they work perfectly. I've recorded over 4,000 movies on one of these discs and I have almost my entire collection on four hard drives that I bought. The price is very reasonable for what you get. The space on them is great for my purpose. I would advise you to lean towards this type of hard drive because I have bought for other 2.5 2TB drives, all four have failed the third time I use them well so there are some that are rubbish are, and all I can say is that these drives are excellent drives for my purpose.
