For the price, this is a very good product. However, this is not ideal. The case and keyboard are two separate parts and will be shipped to you as such. They work well together, but you can't assemble the case and keyboard without moving the keyboard into the case. It's just annoying, but at least you can assemble it whenever you want. The keyboard itself works well. Plug in, work and shine when you want it. Since the keyboard isn't really dependent on the case, I've found that I like using it with the iPad Pro in its smart case rather than the included case. I ended up looking for an inexpensive, functional backlit keyboard to use with my iPad. That's it. Consider the case that comes with the kit as an optional component. PS: Keep the keyboard box for storing the keyboard when traveling etc. Do not throw them away with the rest of the packaging. The keyboard is pictured here as I use it with my Apple Smart Folio, not with the case that came with it.
