Before this razor, for 14 years I used a Dutch-made Philips Philishave 5806 electric razor, bought in Germany for 70 euros. All these years I shaved almost every day and never changed rotary heads. But recently I began to notice that it takes a lot of time to shave. I decided that it was time to replace the razor, I thought that I would buy only Philips again. And I was surprised that in 14 years there were no innovations. My old razor had all the features that modern razor has and probably even better. Charged in half an hour and held the charge for a week all these years. Moreover, her charger is built into the razor, it just comes with a cord, it’s very convenient when traveling, put the cord along with the razor in the case and that’s it. Worked almost silently. When discharged, you can simply shave from the outlet. What I could not find in modern razors. But then I came across the Braun 300S, which also had such a function and the type of shaving is not rotary, which intrigued me, especially since there were only positive reviews. I bought it on sale for 2800. Shaves really well, even hard to reach places, no irritation. It copes well with 3-day stubble, you are not afraid that it will pull the hairs, which was sometimes on the old razor. But her vibration is something. After shaving, my hands are buzzing for another half an hour. I think that if I use the same amount of time as an old razor, then in the end I will earn a vibration disease. Plus, an incredibly loud buzz, about like a hair clipper. It's also bad that there is no trimmer, I'm used to trimming whiskey. I think that it is worth the maximum of the money that I paid for it on the stock.
