I really like the buckle. Putting the watch on and off your wrist is much easier. But the band itself is large (it fits loosely at the tightest fit) and the Vivofit protrudes from the band, so the band doesn't sit as snug on the wrist. Looks bulky, but serves its purpose. (Rate change after 2 months) Within 10 weeks, Vivofit fell out of the band at night - the band became too elastic. I'm glad it was at night and not while swimming. Buy another brand.
