Bought for my husband who was camping in a jeep through the Mojave desert this winter. The weather was mid 20's, windy at night while in the low 50's and rainy during the day. They kept him warm at night. During the day he actually had to take them off while driving because they were too warm under his clothes. As for the fit - my husband is built like a firefighter, he is 5ft 7", broad shoulders, short waist (slightly thicker around the stomach) and weighs 180lbs. The top fit him perfectly, not too tight but not too loose like a t-shirt. He liked it much better than the waffle cotton long underwear. The bottoms fit just as well, although at 5ft 7in they were 1 or 2 inches too long, but that wasn't a problem for him. The weight of the material was heavier than a sweat-wicking, quick-drying shirt you might wear to the gym (think Under Armor), and it actually looks more like a cool-weather workout shirt than long underwear. Very well done, my picky husband loved it.
