My ASUS UX31A takes 2 days to charge and only 30% to 40%. Even I connected the air conditioner when the battery goes to 0 or the computer randomly shuts down. The AC charger blinks orange and blinks green intermittently. I tried thermal paste (I thought it overheated), same problem. I bought 4 new batteries for $45 each, they charge very slowly and only charge 35%. Can't even stay up late enough to update windows. Spend $50 to buy a Windows 8 recovery USB drive from an ASUS dealer since I deleted the recovery partition. Crazy about throwing my laptop in the trash. Give one last chance to buy this $22 charger. Bingo! charge to 100% in 3 hours. Saved my laptop! The cable is 5 feet long. The only thing to complain about is that the charger doesn't have an indicator light like the original to let you know it's charging.
