First, the base just doesn't hold up. I did everything according to the instructions (smooth surface, alcohol preparation, exposure time 24 hours before use). I even put a heavy book on the base for a day to make sure it was really secure. After I installed the GPS, the mount didn't even last a day before everything started to tilt forward. Second, the rattling of the lever assembly was driving me insane. Even though I made sure it was properly installed and snapped into place, it's still loose enough to rattle. Even if the bracket was stuck to the dashboard, I would like to get rid of it due to mechanical fragility. Garmin product. Even the cheap sucker that comes with the GPS is better than this thing. What a waste of money. Very disappointed!
