When training a new puppy it is often helpful to have a leash handy to give you better head control. This particular is very well made and easy to use. Simply pull on the small rubber stopper to reveal a leash large enough to fit over your dog's head (hence the leash's name), and then you can tighten the elastic insert again to secure the loop. Very easy. This can really be done in two seconds before your dog even realizes what's going on. The handle is also cleverly designed with a swivel connection point that allows for 360 degree rotation and helps prevent twisting and tangling of the line. And also the soft grip feels comfortable. I have the blue one 6ft long and it fits my 20lb dog perfectly. I don't use it 100% of the time when my dog is on a leash, but when I need to get him on the leash quickly or when I want to train more seriously, I turn to it. You can't go wrong with this!
