the performance of the ANC H9505 over the Sony so bear me while I declare. Sony's ANC offers top-notch performance but is so aggressive that I feel like I'm in a vacuum and my eardrums feel empty or airy. Simultaneous sucking, this feeling is strange to describe, but it is present after about 3 hours in a row. There is definitely a fatigue factor. With Philips H9505 ANC it seems a bit more natural, not as strong but enough that the background noise doesn't bother me. I have a feeling it's right. The app also offers 2 levels of ANC control + adaptive ANC so essentially 3 levels, despite the lack of aptx HD and similar codecs I still find the sound quality to be above average. They must have done a good job with the drivers and chip tuning. The app gives you more control over the equalizer, but I'm having trouble saving the settings. This headset has a premium feel, build and finish is top notch, comparable to my Sony Sover, at over $100 less than Sony this is the best premium ANC headset you can get!
